LXXV. On Concordance
1. God consists in concordance and concording,
<a well as the> concorder <and the> concordable, by virtue of love’s action;
for which reason He cannot consist in contrariety.
2. Infinitely and eternally,
by means of greatness of goodness, God lends concordance to
<the> bonifier, bonifying <and the> bonified.
3. God lends concordance to bonifying, magnifying,
possifying, understanding and loving,
so that His work may achieve fulfilment.
4. God and man are so concordant
in such great greatness of unity
that together they constitute a single person.
5. Jesus Christ is that Lord
in Whom resides the greatest concordance
between creature and Creator.
6. He who, in virtue of goodness and greatness,
knows how to lend concordance to his good and great loving,
knows how to mix one good with another.
7. A concordance between will and understanding
is much worthier than one
between seeing and hearing.
8. Whoever brings one virtue into concordance with another
is well loved by God
and proceeds towards the Kingdom of Salvation.
9. Sadness frequently leads me to weep,
because I cannot bring large numbers of people into concordance
in order that that they may go to demonstrate God to the unbelievers.
10. God has bestowed upon me a great desire
to do good, though on account of my sinfulness,
I have not been granted the full power to accomplish this.
